Do 1st World Countries Actually Know What Truth Is?
progressivism created wokeness. both leave one in depravity.
It is at minimum very odd, if not outright ignorant, that the West believes it has a better understanding of mankind, people-kind (excuse moi), than the rest of the world. Most people in the world believe in the biological definitions of men and women, not the failing woke plastic academia proposals of gender and sexuality. But the new woke unscientific stance that sex and gender is subjective and not biological tells the rest of the world that what they have known for thousands of years, most of whose cultures predate the United States for millennia, and of course have experienced first hand is just all of sudden, wrong.
How is it not pretentious the West thinks it can convince the rest of the world there are more than 2 genders, or that gender is fluid? Has technological advancement provided so much convenience in our lives and spoon-fed us snippets of junk-food misinformation that people have literally lost the ability to recognize and discern basic truths?
Technology has made it as easy to disseminate and intentionally present misleading and wrong information, formally known as “lies”, as correct and factual information.
The problem though is that facts aren’t as entertaining as dramatic, extreme, falsities are to watch. And the disseminators of disinformation know this. I mean why watch the grass grow or the paint dry when you can watch a train wreck or BREAKING NEWS over and over and over and over and have your dopamine fix all day and night long, right?
People would rather scroll and digest political zingers out of context and stupid pranks than research boring facts because it’s easier and less demanding on what exists between the ears, or doesn’t for that matter, and this has created a big problem for our culture and the world. This makes misinformation transmit quicker than true information. Maybe we’re just hard wired to complain and share bad news. People, after all, are twice as likely to share their bad experiences than their good ones.
Or maybe complaining is just a lazy person’s easy way out in generating empathy from others. Either way, bad news travels and it has negative influence on a society.
Discernment is not a modern cultural characteristic in the U.S. Education is politicized and secular agenda driven. Kids aren’t taught simple things like math the way the world uses it and demands it be used. Kids are taught to take the most inefficient approach to problem-solving, or rather problem-meandering, where one can arrive at a different answer despite it being technically wrong if they can show their scenic route to an incorrect answer. How gormless.
Catch that?
“ ‘a’ book. “A” book a year yields a failing grade when it comes to growing in intelligence and awareness.
“About 73 percent of those 30 to 49 years old said they read at least one book in the last 12 months.”
One.
So our country isn’t reading books. Social media feeds have replaced them. So what?
What happens to you if you’re not reading books? Not much at all. You stay relatively the same, and this is the problem. Knowledge, including creativity, can’t grow and the craft of discernment cannot be developed if one isn’t reading beyond a social media news feed. Sure, you’ll get information. A lot of it. But you will lack the tools needed to determine if you’re being fed propaganda because you will not know historical context and reference points.
Why read books? (Such a sad day we live in to have to answer this question.)
So you’ll know historical context.
This naturally leads to a corrupt environment because some of those in the know see the lack of a group’s knowledge and then proceed to exploit it for their own gain cultivating and utilizing depravity as a tool to achieve control over the ignorant that are naturally not inclined to question what they’re told and if they don’t question, they’ll never push back when they’re being coerced into submission.
Edward Gibbon, in his frequently cited book by many of those who do read history books, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire published in 1776, noted how debauchery followed Rome’s affluence and this led to rather insane, unnatural practices. When living in a delusion, it appears people begin to contemplate then manifest extremes.
Gibbon said of Rome that it had become “bizarreness masqueraded as creativity.”,
… “the vicissitudes of fortune, which spares neither man nor the proudest of his works, which buries empires and cities in a common grave.”
“Revenge is profitable, gratitude is expensive.”
“The most worthless of mankind are not afraid to condemn in others the same disorders which they allow in themselves; and can readily discover some nice difference in age, character, or station, to justify the partial distinction.”
(Just to share a few excerpts so descriptive of us in the “developed” world today.)
The Roman society had become depraved, depraved of morality and dignity and virtue. The notion that human gender is on a sliding scale is bizarreness masquerading as enlightenment. You know it. You cannot know it, unless your mind is seared by depravity.
Depravity
1. a corrupt act or practice.
2. the quality or state of being corrupt, evil, or perverted (Merriam-Webster)
A practice. State of being corrupt-evil-perverted…
Does monetary affluence and immense monetary gain lead to sexual confusion and manipulation of others and society?
This is evident. It happened in Rome. It has been happening in the U.S. and other Western societies.
I have lived and traveled to some of the most remote places on the planet and to tell people outside first-world countries that gender is on a sliding scale would be interpreted as insanity. This is because there are things that are self-evident, like gravity. To try and convenience people that what has been evident since the beginning of mankind, that there are men and there are women and each is so because of their biology, to now saying, “well, actually gender is fluid and not defined by ones biology and there are actually a myriad of genders one can be and even choose to from at any given moment if they decide to they prefer a different gender,” is such a deluded abstract idea it is natural to presume people who propose such notions as being someone suffering from mental illness, evil spirit possession, or a victim of terrible and manipulative education. Or of course, all of the above.
To say gender is subjective and beyond the biological male and female designations to most people outside the “developed” world just shows you are so affluent and opulent that you have lost touch with what is evident to the rest of the world. To be of the first-world society is now becoming synonymous with being from a deluded part of the world.
Another issue that this concept establishes is that it presupposes only those who are affluent are, or can be enlightened, or this network of those detaching from reality would say, the awoken. To say ones monetary standing determines their degree and potential for understanding the human condition is not only insulting, but prejudice seasoned with depravity.
Lest we forget the most influential thinkers the world has ever known such as Jesus, who had no place to lay his head, was able to change and impact the world thousands of years post crucifixion and resurrection. But for some reason there are those in the West who think they are more enlightened than the deep thinkers, philosophers, and teachers of our past. The modern, developed world reads in snippets of about 150 characters, much less books. How can a society create deep thinkers if the environment in which we reside is laden with shallow reactionists getting their kicks from insulting zingers. It’s laughable at first and for a little while thereafter, but then just gets annoying. And then it is revealed for for it is.
Unfortunate.
Concerning.
Pitiful.
I pity in a truly concerning way for those who have bought into this unscientific lie. Science does not support gender fluidity or being born into the wrong body.
I am currently reading Dr. Debra Soh’s book, The End Of Gender, and first heard her on the Joe Rogan podcast. To be clear Dr. Soh is not a professing Christian as I am so don’t think I am just plugging likeminded content. She is a credentialed neuroscientist who has done a significant degree of research on this topic of sexuality and gender and of those speaking to this issue in the public square. She has clearly been speaking truth to power having been censored and silenced for merely sharing the results of her research that shows no support for the secular left’s narrative and claim that gender is on a spectrum.
This censoring of Dr. Soh should make the discerning curious. Why censor a scientist? A secular one at that.
Maybe it’s not so much that monetary affluence leads to depravity as much as it magnifies the depravity that already resides within humanity. Before everyone had a high def camera in their hand, we got our images from TV and magazines while usually in a state of rest at home or in the office break room. But now, millions if not billions of people are responding and engaging with news events in real time and this response en masse is so much louder and impactful on a culture and on individuals than ever it has been in human history. Instead of having a few people responding to the news in the quietness and solitude of their home or with a few others in the local diner, we now are collectively responding by the millions at the same time made possible by the internet. This has consequences.
The discerning are slow to change because the exercise of discernment takes time, naturally. But those unanchored from a solid foundation will believe whatever the Twitter snippets and trends say for that day.
