Should We Expect Anything Else From Will Smith & Hollywood?

You’ve likely seen Will Smith slap Chris Rock on national television during the Oscars many times across your social media feeds by now given like most Americans you didn’t bother to watch it live. We could go into an uncredentialed amateur psychoanalysis and provide some regurgitated reasons as to why Smith assaulted Rock but that is already redundant at this point having been done a hundred fold in less than 24-hours.
To be truthful though instances like this are what we should expect from the hyper secular left in the U.S., particularly from the hedonistic godless Hollywood bourgeois class.
I don’t use the words, “godless” or “hedonistic,” lightly but it seems to be the best words in our current English-based cultural lexicon to describe that subculture. A subculture focused on and that celebrates things like the scientifically unfounded gender fluidity issues, pre- and post-birth “abortion,” culturally appropriating the Judeo-Christian covenant called marriage, censorship of dissidents, and on-and-on, is doing exactly what is expected when assaults happen within their world.
To be hedonistic and godless really are the same thing;
pursuing pleasure and preservation of oneself at the expense of all others.
To deny oneself of pleasure/gratification/preservation is not natural to humans or animals nor could it ever be evolved into humanity. The concept, the reality and force, i.e. power, of self-denial can only come from outside of oneself and outside the lowly level of humanity. It can only come from beyond from a much more powerful source.
When a group of people, a subculture or society, exists solely within itself things like assaulting others, killing baby humans, and striving to maintain self-preservation at the complete expense of all others is the natural result.
The only way to counter this end result of godlessness is by seeking beyond the self and ultimately acknowledging and pursuing God. There is no other option for the source of love and power of true sustainable self-control. For ages now humanity has sought to articulate other sources for these things, but they breakdown after the test of humanity is put on them every single time.
There is one sustainable way to drive out fear and vitriol and harm towards others. This is love, and God is love albeit love is not god. Jesus either bravely or insanely said of himself, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father (God) but by me.” We either must deny this path or accept Jesus for what he said of himself, which I believe history shows his proclamations are and have always been true.
The path to real self-control leads to Jesus in the end as he is the key to God, being God, being Love which is the force and power of loving others at the expense of yourself. God in you compels you to love others via self-control and self-denial.
